Dipl. Tourism Specialist

The HFT Graubünden prepares you optimally for your job and career in the tourism industry. The federally recognised degree programme is practice-oriented and teaches you in six semesters both sound industry knowledge and general knowledge in economics, marketing, communication, IT, psychology and law. The course starts every year in August.

The language of instruction is German, but foreign language instruction is an obligatory part of the training.

Admission
Recognised vocational qualification such as apprenticeship (3-year vocational training), vocational baccalaureate, secondary school diploma, Matura, Abitur or comparable diploma and at least one intermediate year after initial training. Specific regulations are possible. 

Special

The course can be completed in two variants.

Variant with internship year:
With this study model, an internship year of at least 10 months is completed during the 3rd and 4th semesters. In the first and third academic year, students devote themselves to studying at the HFT Graubünden.

Variant with seasonal positions summer & winter:
Since autumn 2014, HFT Graubünden has been offering a further study option - with seasonal positions in summer & winter. This means that the students work in a tourist business in summer and winter, and in the intermediate seasons (spring and autumn) they pursue their studies at HFT Graubünden.

In both study variants, the practical application is an integral part of this course and serves to learn to apply the acquired knowledge in everyday professional life.
